Chapter 225 : NiE Merit!

Sooooo. Yesterday after school I bumped into Sam at the teachers' car park and she told me we won Merit for the Star NiE Mag Inc Competition!! I was so excited! When we heard we didn't get into the finals I was a bit upset but didn't give up hope because I knew we had a chance to win Merit! And we did. So proud of my members :'D We won Merit last year too and we were aiming for Hong Kong this year (HAHA). It's okay lah guys, we still have next year! Our last year so we should really do it seriously! (Not like we didn't for the last 2 years laa ZZZ)

Chapter 290: Being a CAT-ACCA student

Hello. I just wanna get this off my chest for a bit. DISCLAIMER: This is merely my own understanding of the whole programme. Please don't flame me for wrong information lol. WHAT ARE CAT AND ACCA? CAT stands for Certified Accounting Technician. Yeah, people laugh at the term "technician" but in layman terms it is just another name for Foundation in Accountancy. No idea why they used CAT though; probably because they don't want people to mess it up with Foundation in Arts? Anyways, one thing I dislike is when people ask me what I'm currently doing. When I say CAT, EVERYONE doesn't get it. So I just say "Oh I'm doing accounting." which sounds pretty weak but then it's easier than explaining the whole shit a gazillion times to different people and yet they STILL don't get it. :( ACCA stands for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Hello! Didn't notice that I stopped posting for 2 months lol. It's okay I am back now! Didn't really have the time to blog properly but I've been blogging rather diligently on Dayre haha. Chapter 169 : Stressful much?

I must say that the holidays are much more stressful than schooling days. SERIOUSLY. For me la. Some people might be enjoying their holidays soooo much. I envy them. =( And some people are working part time and I bet they're not having fun too. BUT THEY GET MONEY IN THE END. Then again, it's really tiring. Well, apart from waking up late ( 9am is late :D ), eating maggie , watching anime , and watching tv all day without getting scolded ( oh wait, I DID get scolded. sometimes. ), my holidays have been a wreck. :) Why? Because... due to my mom being an invigilator for the SPM students, I couldn't attend scout's meeting and the magazine meeting. And of course, CAMPS! =( Pretty saddening huh? At least I got the chance to go to the ECM selections though. -.- And yeah, we get to go to KL. But, now I don't feel like going anymore. T_T We're gonna have training sessions on the 7th (tomorrow), 9th and 11th of Dec. ( the reason I didn't wanna go...
