I can't believe I'm writing this on my 300th post haih.
Hello hello. I started classes on Wednesday. My lecturers this semester are:
F7: Ms Fei Ling
F8: Ms Kiran
F9: Mr Michael
Overall I'm pretty satisfied with these lecturers. I have been under Ms Fei Ling so I'm used to her way. Ms Kiran makes the whole class more vibrant therefore having the feeling of falling asleep in class is rare compared to FAU last year hahahah. She teaches in a way that she makes sure we understand the concepts behind rather than blindly teaching. Mr Michael is hilarious. He hasn't really started teaching us yet but I'm sure he's okay.
Classes and all were great, until Friday came. It was 9:20am when me, JY, Kevin and Jeremy went down to the cafeteria for break. I bought my food and drink and sat down on the table, and because my skirt didn't have pockets, I placed my handphone on the table.
When we left, I forgot about taking my phone (I know, I'm so careless T_T). We went upstairs as per usual, and before I entered the LT, I noticed that I didn't have my phone with me. I ran down in a rush, and within 2-3 minutes, my phone was gone. It was no where to be found. :(
My heart definitely sank...
We asked the cleaners but they said no they haven't seen it. So we went to file a report to the college security. The person in charge said that if there were CCTVs around, my phone recovery rate would be a hundred percent. But there were no cameras around!!!
Haih. We tried calling the phone a million times and it seems that the person was deliberately rejecting the calls. That's like the worst thing to happen because it was clear that someone had taken my phone without the intention of returning it to me. Aiyo...faith in humanity is gone lah.
What breaks my heart the most is that I've wasted my mother's money by losing that phone which I could have used for at least 2 more years. I've only used it for a year and 3 months. It's still in a super good condition.
The first time I lost my phone was in Korea back in December 2012. That, I wasn't sure how I lost it. I thought I'd placed it nicely in my pouch but it wasn't in there. It probably dropped in the snow or something. :(
I should be more careful next time. T_T
On a second note, we had our first ice-breaking session for SAC 2016 and our first meeting of the year. I volunteered to become Assistant Head Of Marketing. Our first assignment was to design our club T-Shirt and finding suitable suppliers.
Ice-breaking wasn't too bad lah. Managed to get along with some already. First event will be in March, which is Charity Drive. Hope all goes well.
Bad day became an overall bad week for me. Sigh.
Next week will be better, I hope.
