Chapter 271: Paper Towns

Hey lovelies. A short update: I'll be back in Melaka on Thursday afternoon!!!!! YAYYYYYYYY. *applause* WARNING: THERE ARE SPOILERS FOR PAPER TOWNS Credits to Google. Or whoever who took this. Yesterday I stayed up till 2am to finish Paper Towns by John Green. It is a GREAT book. I find this book very different from the genres I normally read. It's a mystery kind of book along with some romance, and definitely a stir of humor. I guess it started getting interesting when Margo went missing. I read on and on because I wanted to know where Margo went, and why the hell did she run away. I really like the whole plot of the story. And how the book reflects so much about our society. We often fantasize and imagine someone we like/had a crush on to be someone irrevocably perfect in any way; the things they do, the words they say, the person they are. But most of the time, if not all, this is all just an imagination; an ideal person in our head. *sidetrack: This was also ...

Chapter 270: (Sort of) Productive Weekend

Hello hello~! Just finished my Progress Test 1 haih. My marks were average this time! 86 for both FA2 and FMA. 76 for FAB. There was a slight problem though during FAB, though I prefer not to mention it here. It made me...depressed for a while. And it's not because of the marks. Some other reason lah I say out here some people will murder me hahahaha. Ok uhm so. I didn't go back to my aunt's house this weekend (again) because we were gonna have a partial Bij reunion in Midvalley! YAYYYY. Shu Yie, JJ and Jun Yong accompanied me there cos I was scared to ride the bus alone LOL. Legs were so tired omg cos we walked a lot. But it was a nice meetup. We went to Kungfu Paradise to makan. Food there was okay I guess. My dish, Tom Yam Fried Rice was great, except that the rice was awfully spicy. Really. I couldn't taste the tom yam at all srsly lol it was just spicy, spicy and spicy. -_- Courtesy of JJ's phone HAHAHAH. This wefie looks like Potty is acting cute ha...

Chapter 269: Raya Updates!

HELLO. I forgot to update again hehehe. I wanted to post my outings individually at first but then they might be too short? And kinda annoying so I decided to accumulate them together. Okay I actually drafted a bit of this post already sooo... xxxxxxxx Yesh peopo I am back in Melaka yo~! MAKE SOME NOOOOOOOIIISEEE *raises hands like I'm in some club* *cricket sounds* K. Fine. Last Saturday I went out with the Bijes yay. Though initially it was only the 4 of us at first. Meh. Stupid Potty just doesn't want to take his last day of leave LOL. We'd planned the BBQ a week before so we were all pretty excited about it. We went to iTango for our compulsory karaoke sessions first XD We were there five minutes early so we took wefies using Cw's new phone. I also want new phone T____T *sidetrack a bit. My phone is getting too laggy these days and I REALLY REALLY want to change a new phone. But my mom doesn't allow it and said it must be fully broken then only sh...

Chapter 268: 5 More Days

Hey hey~! I really really forgot to update my blog already lol. Continuing from previous blog post, now I find it extremely funny and cool for my ME lecturer to have the same name as me. Like, I can constantly make fun of it lolol. For example, when we are almost late for class, I'd say, "Wah, later Celine Tan angry." or when someone is talking to her in front, "Hey look he's talking to Celine Tan." or when Celine Ong (classmate) went to talk to her, "Two Celines are talking in front, should I go join them? Celines unite!" Ok this one lame. But whatever. Wo kai xin jiu hao. Now I am definitely judging myself to care so much about this lor. Why get angry when you can make fun of your own name lolol. Limpeh kan kai le ok. Moving on. The reason why I forgot to blog is because...because...I also dunno why eh zzz. I have to say though. Having 12pm classes from Monday to Wednesday has really made me a damn lazy person. And when there are 8am classes I ...

Chapter 267: What Defines You

Hey sorry for the super long hiatus. I got back to college recently. The timetable's a bit more packed now though there are no morning classes for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Super grateful for that haha). I'm fine, handling the homesickness pretty well I guess. I won't be back to Melaka till the Raya holidays. which starts on the 25th. YES 14 more days till I'm back baby. Totally can't wait to breathe in Melaka air again *anxious* I attended my first Moral Ed lecture yesterday. Guess what? My lecturer has the same name as me. LOL. The second her name appeared on the slide (she was using powerpoint to introduce the subject), I immediately exclaimed "What the fuck" lol. Then everyone around me was like "Eh Celine Tan leh" -___- At first I was pretty annoyed lah. Like, why do so many people have the same name as me? Get your own name lah lol. I wouldn't say my name is common actually. Until I knew there was another Celine Tan who is 2 ye...

Chapter 266: Miracle In Cell No. 7 REVIEW

Hey hey. Recently I've been watching lots of movies (too free ma lol). So this particular korean movie - Miracle in Cell No. 7 was just amazing. I decided to write a review for it. An amateur one so don't expect too much because I've never done this before lol. Or you can just skip it. Either way will do. Miracle in Cell No. 7 is a heartwarming story that reveals the tight bond between a mentally disabled father and a smart daughter. Yong Gu is wrongly accused of abducting, raping and murdering a young girl. He is put into a cell along with criminals of the highest offence. Through this story, we get to learn the hardship of a father, the unconditional love of a daughter and true friendship. We could see how Yong Gu, although being mentally disabled, could provide her daughter Yesung with utmost love and care in every way. He dotes on Yesung and protects her when he knows that she is in danger. He puts Yesung’s life ahead of his without hesitation and wants the bes...

Chapter 265: Expectations Vs Reality?

Halo. 心血来潮 so I am here. Remember when we are all young, and we would dream of becoming successful doctors or lawyers or whatnot? And as we grow up, we find out that it is not that easy after all? So we start changing and changing our ambition to suit our needs? Because we finally know that it is not just about dreaming... It is also about making a move and making a change. It's the same for how we face people. When we are young, and you expect people to do things for you, that's perfectly normal. Everyone treats you good because you are young, and you can't handle disappointment. Even when you are down, your parents will cheer you up with ice-cream. But as you grow up, things change. You suddenly realize that the world doesn't revolve around you. You suddenly realize you're not as important as you think you are. Most importantly, you find out that expectations...are always so much brighter than reality. I guess it's all part of the parcel we receive whe...
